Various projects that I'm proud of. Images are clickable to view larger.
TREEBENCH

Tree Bench A custom designed hexagonal bench designed to wrap around a tree. Bench was built to split in half and be bolted together around the tree on-site. Built out of standard treated pine & DeckMate screws.
PICNICTABLE

Picnic Table This octagonal picnic table was built off some internet plans. Old growth cypress was used and it was stained with Flood's CWF-UV. All screw holes were plugged with hardwood dowels giving nice flat surfaces. Pocket screws were used to hold things together tightly.
PARKBENCH

Park Bench This was a quick project to use up the leftover cypress from the octagonal picnic table. The 1x3 band around the bench was cedar. The plan was taken from a magazine and is unique in that you can independently adjust the angles of the back & seat to suit your liking.
ARBOR

Arbor This massive arbor was built to double as a swing set. Large dimension lumber was used both for strength and to give it a unique look. The uprights are 6x6's with 2x10 beams notched into them. 2x8 rafters complete the structure with some 4x4 diagonals to keep things stable when the swings are going.
POTTINGBENCH

Potting Bench This was a quick day project with leftover lumber. It stands underneath my deck and is a convenient place to pot plants or do other outside tasks. The uprights extend to the deck joists where they are attached for stability, but the bolt holes are slotted to allow for frost heave.
